Let’s Talk Football: #3 Musical Triggers

What is the soundtrack to your life? If it were possible for you to go through life with "theme music playing in your background what would it sound like? For most of us being gamers i know that music plays a big role in our ability to lock in, focus, and elevate those competitive juices in the sticks. In what other ways does music come into play in your life?

I've always been a musically in tune type of guy, and often recognize the ability music has to shift my mood, inspire my emotions, and tap into my subconscious. Recently though I had a new experience that I'm quite unfamiliar with. For years I've heard the Lukas Graham song, "When i was 7 years old" but never really ever actually listened to the song. It came across my feed a few days ago, and I watched the music video and listened to the lyrics, and I cannot make it through that song with crying. Like uncontrollable, waterfalls, tears running down my face. It's not sad tears, happy tears, nostalgic tears, it's just tears. But I love the song.

I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old. Perhaps life has taught me lessons that subconsciously that song taps into. But somebody please tell me I'm not crazy. That isn't the only song I've had this experience with, but I understand the emotional connections I have to these other songs, but Lukas Graham isn't really my jam. Let's Talk about it.
